These terms govern your use of the Emnet mobile application, operated by Emnet Bridge ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. The service
Emnet connects you with churches you choose to follow: their announcements, readings, sermons, events, live services, service requests, and giving. Churches publish their own content and are responsible for it; we provide the platform.
2. Your account
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app.
3. Acceptable use
Do not post content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others, and do not interfere with the operation of the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules; churches and our moderators may also moderate content in their communities.
4. Donations and giving
- Donations are processed by Stripe. Each church operates its own Stripe merchant account, and your gift settles directly with that church; Emnet does not hold the church's funds.
- A platform fee (3% by default) plus standard card-processing fees are deducted from each gift to sustain the service.
- Refunds are handled by the receiving church in accordance with its own policies and applicable law; contact your church or support@emnetbridge.com for help.
- Donations are typically not tax-advice; consult your tax adviser about deductibility.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights to content you post and grant us a license to display it within the service. The app, its design, and its software remain the property of Emnet Bridge and its licensors. Church content belongs to the respective church.
6. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emnet Bridge is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect.
